2011 Grant Recipients
The Foundation is excited to announce
that nine deserving charities will be receiving grants this year. Grant funds will
be raised, in large, by our annual Rock the Foundation benefit concert.
About the Barney & Barney’s 2011 Grant Recipients -
Founded by the Principals and Associates of Barney & Barney, the Foundation
accepts grant nominations once a year from its Associates.
The nominations are then reviewed and narrowed down by a committee, after
which potential recipients are invited to apply formally.
Grant amounts vary year after year, depending on funds raised and the need
of the potential recipient.
This year, grants will be given to charities in San Diego, Orange County
and the Bay Area, the three regions in which the company has offices. Recipients are:

BAY AREA
Since its founding two years ago, the Foundation has granted $280,000 to deserving charities.
